My red Vignette sweater has reached its first mile marker: the back is finished.
But Curling is not just a winter sport.
But, with a helpful dose of friction from the carpet (and a few strategically placed pins), I can flatten it out to its intended shape, and it looks like the back of a sweater.
I’m hopeful that the side curling and the shoulder curling will be remedied by the seam of the garment. That little bit of curling at the back of the neck, however, will be remedied by another band of 1 x 1 ribbing that is worked with the front.
On to the front pieces, which should be more exciting to knit, because they have some of the lace/cable work. Stay tuned!
