I’m a twenty-something knitter/crocheter/software-developer who is still trying to figure things out. Big things. “What should I do with my life” things. And knitting helps, or is at least an enjoyable way to pass the time and distract myself.
So this blog is about knitting, crocheting, and me. (As you can see, I won’t take sides on the “knitting vs. crocheting” war, but tout the benefits of knowing both.) My plan is to post at least twice a week.
What’s a pika, you ask? “The pika is a small mammal, with short limbs, rounded ears, and no external tail.”
And according to the Discovery Channel, some species show a “dark side” by storing dead birds in their holes, with the plan to eat the brains in the dead of winter. So, the pika, cute, flower-loving, and full of surprises, is my new mascot. And if it had opposable thumbs, I think it would enjoy knitting warm sweaters for the winter.
Thanks for visiting!
